Gower's most visited attraction

The iconic sunflower
fields at Rhossil

The glorious fields of sunflowers are once again open near Worm's Head at Rhossili

Rhossili Sunflowers is located at the iconic Vile in Rhossili; we currently grow around 8 acres of sunflowers. Years ago, Vile was famous for its vegetable production, which has grown some of the best vegetables in the UK. Demand for that has declined, as with farming on the Gower. Now, most of the land is owned by the National Trust, some by local farmers, and the sunflower fields by Robert Morgan of Gower Fresh Christmas Trees....

Incredible opportunity to snap few amazing shots for your Insta.

2025 was another exciting and successful year for us. Tens of thousands of visitors enjoyed the sunflower fields. This year, we have prepared 3 fields lots of wildflower strips that we know will bring lots of joy to everyone. You will still be able to get some food and refreshing drinks.

We hope you enjoy the fields with a variety of Sunflower colours and sizes and got those all-important family photos at one of our Sunflower arches or one of our 2 giant swings. We are looking forward to seeing you again in 2026.

Charity

At the heart of our event is the spirit of community. Last year, thanks to your support, we raised over £1400.00 for Morgan’s Army and Many Tears Animal Rescue  We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone. In 2024 we are supporting TY HAFAN a great well known charity.
Together, let’s continue to make a difference in our community.

Prepare for your visit

How to have the best experience.

Opening Times

Opening times are daily from 10am to 7pm if weather is dry. If we have the weather that will allow for beautiful sunsets then we can stay open until 9:00pm. However, if the weather is wet, we close at 6pm. Please follow us on Facebook, where we will confirm closing times for the day there. Our Food Hut is open until 7pm, serving hot and cold drinks and a selection of cold savouries, cakes and pastries.

Car park

The sunflower fields’ parking is in the National Trust car park (for prices and more information check their website), and it is then a short walk of about 20 minutes to the bottom field.  The car park is also the last chance for a comfort break, as there are no lavatories beyond it. The path has no paved sections, so it can be uneven, but many still enjoy it with buggies or walking aids.

Due to the land between us and the car park not being ours, we are unable to offer easier access, such as transport to the fields.

Prices

Entry Price is £5.00 for 12+ years old and £4.00 for under 12’s. Children in buggies, prams or being carried go in for free. You can pay by card and cash at the gate, but it is advisable to bring cash as the card machine signal can sometimes drop. Pick your own stems to take home for £1.50

Adults as well as children can enjoy our trail, find the clues and collect the stamps, a great way to explore the fields. It’s all included in the entry price, as well as a map for the trail. Please be advised sunny days and weekends can get very busy, so please expect delays. Try to visit on weekdays when it is quieter and more tranquil.
Sensible footwear is recommended in all conditions.
